PETASTIC CARE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - General
1. Petastic Care will not confirm any booking until a consultation has been carried out between the client and myself , and the client having signed the Service Agreement, with full details of the clients requirements.
2. The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be adequately cared for in the clients absence ( ie: food, bedding, towels, medication, tags, collars, leads, cat litter etc ). All items must be in adequate condition. Should the need arise for pets needing any additional supplies whilst in the care of Petastic Care, these will be purchased and added onto the clients bill.
3. Full payment of invoice is to be made within 7 days of date of invoice via cash, cheque or bank transfer. Unless otherwise agreed in writing between Petastic Care and the client. If payment is not made within this period than 2% of the total bill will be added for each day that payment is overdue.
4. If it is necessary for keys to be picked up or dropped off in order to complete an assignment, charges will be invoiced for each trip.
5. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Petastic Care.
6. The client must make Petastic Care aware of any behavioural problems, or medical problems concerning their pets at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges, or cancellation of any future contract.
7. The client must provide Petastic Care with the name and contact details of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Petastic Care reserve the right to consult a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which would be in the animals best interests.
8. Prices will be charged at a higher rate of 50% extra on weekends, Bank Holidays and Public Holidays, except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day where prices will be charged at a higher rate of 100% extra.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - DOG WALKING
1. For Cancellations of walks, a minimum of 1 weeks notice is required. If the required notice is not given charges will be applied in full for the cancellation period.
2. Regular dog walking services are provided by Petastic Care Monday to Friday. Weekend walks can be provided on short term basis (ie: If client is away for more than 1 week at any one time).
3. All dogs exercised must be fully vaccinated and on regular flea and worm control regime.
4. All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialised.
5. If the client requires Petastic Care to towel dry the dog off (as possible). Please leave towels by the front door.
6. Petastic Care are covered with Public Liability Insurance, although wherever possible pets should be insured by the client. Petastic Care reserve the right to refuse a booking for any animal which is not insured.
7. Petastic Care will care for your animal in the very best way possible, and whilst we make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after and kept as safe as is possible in your absence, Petastic Care cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care.
8. Petastic Care reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time and with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker and/ or other dogs.
9. Petastic Care will apply judgement and cut short a walk if necessary due to extreme weather conditions (e.g: extreme heat, thunder storms, extreme freezing conditions) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.
10. All dogs to be exercised on a lead unless otherwise stated by the owner and a disclaimer form having been signed.
11. No more than 6 dogs to be exercised at any one time. Petastic Care will assess the suitability of walking this many dogs at any one time due to the training ability of the dog, and the place where the walk is to be undertaken.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - HOME VISITS / BOARDING
1. Any cancellations must be made more than 1 months notice in advance or the full rate will be charged.
2. Petastic Care will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however Petastic Care cannot be held responsible for any burglaries, or accidents caused by your
pets(s).
3. The client must provide all items necessary for your pet to be adequately cared for in the clients absence.
4. A 50% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking .
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - PET TAXI
1. Any cancellations must be made more than 48 hrs in advance or the full rate will be charged.
2. All bookings are subject to a 50% non - refundable deposit payable in advance.
3. Unfortunately I am unable to taxi any persons
4. Client must notify the veterinary surgeon that Petastic care will be attending the appointment on their behalf and ensure that arrangements for full payment have been made with either Petastic Care or the vet.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - EQUINE/LIVESTOCK VISITS
1. Although Petastic care are insured and the very greatest effort will be made to ensure your
animal (s) is looked after with the highest of standards, and with every care taken as is possible, Petastic Care are not responsible for any animals illness, injury, death, or loss of shoe whilst in our care.
2. Although Petastic care are covered with Public Liability Insurance. Petastic Care will not be held responsible due to any accidents at the fault of any other person(s) and or animal (s) , or injury to any other person(s) or damage to property whilst in the care of Petastic Care. Wherever possible animals should be insured by the client. Petastic care reserves the right to cancel any bookings to animals with no insurance, at any time and without any prior notification.
3. All bookings are subject to a 50% non - refundable deposit payable in advance to secure booking.
4. Any cancellations must be given more than 1 month in advance otherwise full payment will be charged.
5. Invoices are to be paid within 7 days of visit via cash or bank transfer

7. All vices must be disclosed to Petastic care prior to booking.
8. All tools/ apparatus needed to enable Petastic care to provide adequate care for the animal(s) whilst in our care , are to be provided by the client for each visit. Equipment must be in good and safe working order. If Petastic care need to purchase any items which Petastic care need to provide adequate care, these will be charged onto the clients invoice.
8. Any medication/ dietary requirments must be made known to us at the time of pre booking.
9. Attendance of farrier/ vet appointments etc. All monies needed to settle any bills at that time must be left for Petastic care to hand over.
10. Although every effort will be operated to ensure good hygiene, Petastic care cannot be held responsible due to any disease coming onto the clients property. Any particular hygeine control method should be discussed at the initial meeting.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - DOG GROOMING
1. Any cancellations must be notified to Petastic Care more than 1 week in advance, otherwise the full charge will be given.
2. Petastic care cannot be held responsible for any illness, loss or injury to the animal(s) whilst in the care of Petastic Care, however occurred.
3. All invoices to be paid within 7 days from invoice date. If payment is not received by this date, than a 2% charge will be added for every day overdue.
4. Petastic Care must be notified of any likes or dislikes, or behavioural problems whilst grooming, and any allergies, at initial meeting.
